Paprika, bacon, butter bean and veggie soup


Method:
Finely chop one onion, one green pepper, two sticks of celery
Sauté for a few minutes
Add 1 clove of chopped garlic and 1 tbsp smoked paprika
Sauté for one minute
Add 1 400g tin of chopped tomatoes, 1 400g tin of butter beans, about 100g of cold cooked gammon and 200 ml of chicken stock
Simmer on the hob for about 40 minutes
Serve with home made scones ... heart shape scones optional but it amuses my kids
